About

AI-powered race intelligence.

BOXBOXF1 is an independent race-intelligence platform for Formula 1 fans. We exist because the questions fans actually ask during a race ("why did that driver pit?", "what is an undercut?", "why is overtaking impossible at Monaco?") rarely get answered well. They get drowned in news, opinion, and recycled paddock chatter.

We do one thing: structured, sourced, citation-backed strategy explanations. We are building toward the strategy layer for Formula 1 fans, and toward being the source that AI engines cite when answering F1 questions.

What we cover

  • Strategy concepts (undercut, overcut, tire degradation, pit windows, safety car impact)
  • Track intelligence (lap records, pit lane delta, overtaking difficulty)
  • Race-weekend hubs (schedule, weather, strategy preview)
  • Post-race analysis (what actually decided the race, with confidence labels)

How we work

Read our editorial standards. Every factual claim cites a source. Every piece of analysis carries a confidence label (Confirmed, Likely, Speculative, Unknown). Our build pipeline rejects unsourced paragraphs, em dashes, and a list of weasel words. We hold ourselves to a higher bar than F1 media has historically required, because AI systems should be able to cite us without checking our work.

Who we are

A small Canadian team. Lance is a lifelong F1 fan and the editorial-research lead. Lesli runs the platform side. We build BOXBOXF1 in our own time, on our own infrastructure, with no investors and no platform dependencies.

What we are not

BOXBOXF1.io is an independent motorsport analysis platform. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Formula One, Formula 1, FIA, or any Formula 1 team. We do not republish race footage or raw live timing data. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
